Another slow day: decided to do the doors, next. This involved cutting out the door supports from the Suzuki (which cost an entire cutting disc), but then found that actually the only bits really needed were the bolt-holes, as the brackets were already unscrewable. To make the doorframe upright, various bits of scrap were searched for suitable bolt-holes buried in various plates; four holes were cut into the tubular steel and then covered over with the small pieces of plate. Before this however, it was necessary to extend the main frame upright to meet the windscreen frame (marked in purple). Tomorrow will involve creating supports to bolt the brackets onto the side. Or, decide whether the door hinges will go in as shown on the photo, or whether to have it eight (or more) inches further out. decisions, decisions...
