First piece of door that actually looks like a door.
Side window frame went on very quickly on top of the horizontal part.
Each of those is going to be filled with a flat pane.
Box-work that went in underneath the window. It's made of stronger stuff
than the top part, as side-impact protection and structural support. Yes
that's correct: it really is "recessed" inwards because (see next photo)
of the outer box that pads the vehicle out to a more normal-looking width.

Standing on the back of the frame, holding the door in place and bouncing up
and down sideways showed a *full* centimetre of flex in the frame. This is
because there isn't yet any diagonal support in at the front: no real
triangles. So, some have to go in!
