NUTS! first major mistake: cut out the centre support between the two
rear suspension arms, intending to weld "smaller" supports in place either
side, only to find that actually the metal that had been in place was
lighter than what would be needed to replace it. All things considered,
decided to weld it back in. In future, will be more careful about this.
No comments about the welding, please! unless they're genuine advice
about how to properly use an Inverter.
Down to the last cutting disc so could only do one side. The replacement
support will go across to the main rectangular chassis frame (seen, just,
bottom left of photo).
More cutting discs on order, as well as some grinding discs. Will have
to stop for a couple of days, really, until they arrive. darn!
