The kindness of your heart
ripples the mirror in your soul
So many have turned away, ashamed.

The thanks for your tears
is a torrent of laughter and fears
Bearing witness to your healing power, again.

All the lands that sought to buy you,
all the friends that died to deny you
Help them through the darkness, all the same.

When the threats came back to haunt you,
and I cried in my need to save you,
I could only let them take you, not my shame.

The sun has set beyond the dawn.
Though e'en the golden glow has gone,
The memory of your love will e'er remain.
