B Meson Oscillation

This section explains how a B Meson (B-0) is able to phase-shift into its own anti-particle (and thus back again). The transition occurs with the brief assistance of a Pion-0 (up quark flavour).

In the top left corner is an anti-strange quark. To the top right is a bottom. First, the anti-strange quark's neutrino and down quark phase-shift to create the electron (which stays in-place in what becomes the anti-bottom), as well as an up quark from the temporarily-created Pion-0. In the opposing phase-shift the remaining up quark from the anti-strange and the anti-down quark from the anti-bottom phase-shift to create the anti-up of the temporary Pion-0 as well as the anti-electron of the anti-bottom.

The first of the second pair of phase transitions involves the up-quark of the temporary Pion-0 and the electron of the anti-bottom, to create the anti-up of the strange and the anti-down of the anti-bottom. The matching phase transition takes the anti-up of the temporary Pion-0 and the positron of the anti-bottom to create the down and anti-down of the strange.

It is likely that all of these phase transitions occur simultaneously, as otherwise each of the Pion-0's constituent particles would be created and then transformed in time-frames that were out of sync.

Again, as with all these phase-transformations, there may be other simpler patterns or even patterns that better match what is really going on, or there may be other patterns that are mathematically equivalent, however this set of four phase transitions involving only one temporary particle appears at least to be logically consistent and fairly straightforward.

However, an important question is raised here: why did the Pion-0 temporarily come into existence, and what does that mean? The temporary Pion-0 is, in terms of the Standard Model, a gluon. It was created and destroyed within under one oscillation of the wavelength of Rishon Particles, and it merely permitted, facilitated or represents a slightly more complex phase shift. Note that the temporary creation of the Pion-0 really is temporary: it is both the input and output of other VT0 phase-shifts.
