AMCauis is a simple-to-use database program, running on a standard dedicated PC, with a standard PC keyboard (no mouse - one is not required), a barcode printer and a barcode scanner attached.
AMCauis can, if you need it to be, be accessed from your office networked PCs or even over the internet - from any standard PC running Linux, Mac/OSX or Windows. All you require is a Secure Shell compatible program, such as the very popular (and free) putty.exe for Windows. Your Linux or Mac/OSX system will come with ssh included, as standard.
